Hello again

Off the wagon and trying to get back on. Has it really been that long since I’ve posted?? Wow.

What has been going on in my fitness quest? Well, not much but some walking each week. I am happy to report that I have lost a few pounds. I think the husband being gone and not having to cook as much contributed to that. I also have been working on not eating anything late at night….past 8pm. That really does work.

Now that I am back (again), I need some advice from all you women who have been successful at your weight loss goals. How do you stay motivated, how do you keep it up when life gets crazy and you have lots going on. Send me your encouraging comments.

Hydrate or Die

I think I’ve heard that somewhere before….

Yesterday I went for my walk and I think I must not have been drinking enough water because today I felt terrible.

Terrible as in nauseous, head ache…..yuk

Walk went good though….made through the course and enjoyed the music on the ipod, tried not to think of all the things I could be doing instead of working out.

I’m Back

Running
I’m back and went for a walk tonight. When I was updating the site I can’t believe it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve posted. They say it takes 3 weeks to create a habit. I was also most there…..I set some new goals for this week.

Mileage: 3.0

Comments: Great walk tonight. I saw two runners and one biker on the road. Lots of sprinklers running. I’ll have to remember to save some of our old bread to take over to the ducks next time I’m going by the pond. There were a bunch there today.

Tomorrow the goal is to do the Tae Bo tape. I need a good start to the week to carry me into the weekend.

Off Day

Today is an off day since I worked out Sat, Sun and Monday. Wow, not something I need to repeat.

My arms are sore from the push ups I did on the Tae-Bo video.

Not to mention I am a little stiff.

Nice to have a day off.

Tomorrow the plan is to walk.

Back to Tae-Bo

Today I did the Tae-Bo Basic Boot Camp Workout

Details:
54 min.
Workout time: 715pm
No bands (are they crazy)
Lots of modifications, but I did get through the whole thing. Which is an improvement!

I just have to say, I LOVE Billy Blanks…..even though I probably will not be able to walk tomorrow!

Played soccer on Parents team against the kids at the British Soccer Camp. Had two shots on goal and missed both! This game is harder than it looks from the side line!! Had tons of fun!! The weather wasn’t too hot, nice breeze otherwise I would have been under the shade tree.
